About Me

My name is Jacob Kasanin and I am 17. I live in Palo Alto, California with my parents, sister, and my crazy Australian shepherd dog. I love playing tennis, basketball late at night with my friends, and the violin. As you probably have guessed by now, I am interested in the brain.

I have a family history of people that struggle with neurological disorders. I created this blog because I want to make a lasting impact in the field of neuroscience, and I want to start NOW, and not have to wait until I am in a position to receive formal training. I have found it very challenging, at my age, to find internships and educational programs that I can access, so I hope this blog answers that need for others.
